We’re Amelia and Matt Photo, a husband-and-wife photography team based in Cary, NC. We specialize in maternity, newborn, couples, engagement, family, and graduation photography for clients across Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, and the suburbs in the greater Triangle area.

We believe the best photos come from real connection, not stiff poses or forced smiles. Our sessions are relaxed and fully guided so you always know what to do, and we focus on the in-between moments, the laughter, the quiet glances, the stuff that actually feels like you.

As a husband-and-wife team, we each bring a different perspective to every session. That means more angles, more candid moments, and someone who always has an eye on the details while the other is capturing the big picture.

When we are not shooting, you will probably find us exploring somewhere new, getting coffee at Brew in Downtown Cary, editing side by side with music on, or hanging out with our two cats. We draw a lot of inspiration from travel and everyday life, and it shows up in how we shoot.

We are based in Cary and photograph clients throughout the Triangle including Raleigh, Durham, Apex, Chapel Hill, and Holly Springs. We would love to hear your story.

They made us feel so comfortable and guided us with the poses/set up for the shots which was so helpful. Funny enough, we actually found them through ChatGPT when I was looking for something special for my husband and my first wedding anniversary. We had been traveling a lot for work and decided we wanted to celebrate with an anniversary photo session instead of taking another trip.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful. They gave us several location options, sent inspiration from previous shoots, and even helped us decide what to wear. They made the entire planning process feel effortless.

The day of our session was even better than we imagined. Having two photographers was amazing because they worked so seamlessly together and made us feel completely comfortable. My husband and I are definitely not professional models, but they guided every pose naturally, kept the session flowing, and made the whole experience fun. At no point did we ever feel awkward or unsure of what to do. It was obvious that they are true professionals who genuinely love what they do.

The editing process was just as impressive. The turnaround time was incredibly fast, and their online gallery made it so easy to view and download all of our photos. We were absolutely blown away by the final images.

I am so grateful we found Amelia and Matt. They captured such a special milestone in our lives, and I know without a doubt that they will be the photographers we continue to use for years to come. We cannot wait to have them photograph future anniversaries, family portraits, and one day our family with kids. Thank you both for giving us memories that we will cherish forever.
